Give yourself time to focus and get busy with what truly matters, the One seated in your heart in the depth of your soul.
EVERY SUNDAY: Special prayers with a spiritual talk
Prayers start later on Sunday and include an Abhiskek, the ritual bathing of the deities and a Yajna, the ritual fire ceremony, accompanied throughout by sanskrit chanting and kirtana, beautiful music dedicated to the various forms of God. There is also a spiritual talk, called a Satsang, given by a Swami who had dedicated their life to realising the highest truth of their eternal relationship with the Supreme Lord.
EVERY SUNDAY: Music Corner
The ashram is home to many accomplished musicians singing Bhajan and Kirtana in a variety of styles accompanied by a range of Indian and Western instruments.
Every Sunday from 12.00-13.00 one or more of them can be found in one of our communal spaces singing the divine names and pastimes and inviting anyone and everyone to join in and share in the joy.
Meet the Living Master
His mission is to open the hearts of humanity. He does this by tirelessly traveling the world to awaken love and devotion of the Divine through personal blessings, spiritual talks, devotional singing, wisdom discourses and pilgrimages to holy sites.
He made Shree Peetha Nilaya the homebase for His international mission and guides us daily to live in that love. Many new visitors have told us that after meeting Paramahamsa Vishwananda, something within them changed. Their hearts opened. They felt a sweetness inside they’d never felt before. They can’t wait to return for more.
Experience it yourself when you visit.
Events & Festivals
Shree Peetha Nilaya is known for its events, and especially for its festivities and celebrations. It’s all a part of what we do as our spiritual practice: we pray, we chant, we sing, we dance. Our celebrations go on all year round, but the most talked-about event we host is the Just Love Festival.
Join us for one or join us for all. Everyone is welcome to join us in celebrating the Divine.
Commune with Nature
Whether you have come to Shree Peetha Nilaya for the day, the weekend, or longer, exploring our beautiful environment is a natural way to start your own inner exploration too. The deep quiet of the hills and forest supports a journey into your own stillness.
Walk in the woods. Discover the hidden streams and ponds. Let the birds serenade you. Stretch your legs and breathe deep. Go by yourself, or go deeper with a group japa walk in silence.
